The Woodbury option of Decowood™ Shutters is the range we like to recommend for bathrooms and areas that will get exposed to moisture. The Woodbury range is waterproof and moisture and stain resistant. They are also easy to clean and low maintenance!
Choose the Normandy Shutters which are made from Kiri wood if you’re looking for a silky smooth, knot-free finish. The Normandy Shutter Range is our “gentle” option. They are gentle to the touch, gentle on the eye and gentle to the environment.
And, at the top of the range, our White Teak Shutters boast a beautiful light wood colour that will enhance any interior. They offer light weight touch functionality.
American Shutters® also offers an Aluminium range of shutters. We strictly only use architecture grade aluminium to ensure you get the best quality. Aluminium shutters are the king of low, low maintenance and hygienic properties.

We have hinged options where the shutters “fold back” as they are opened. This could be a centrally opened shutter combination or, left or right opening option. You can also go “cafe style” where the shutters are split to give a more trendy effect.
Depending on the architectural features you might want to go with the Bi-fold operation where the shutters open in a “concertina-style” stacking system. And our last option, the Bi-pass operation will enable you to open the shutter as a “fold-in behind one another” mechanism.
